Jennifer and Nathan's Getting Ready Shots!

I'm thrilled to share Jennifer and Nathan's December wedding.  I enjoyed these two and their sweet families.  After Nathan passed the bar exam the next thing on their list for this couple was to get married.  They were fine with a ceremony at the courthouse, but their families stepped in and talked them into a small wedding at Nathan's parents' home.  This wedding was a true family affair!  Here are some detail and getting ready shots.

I loved the berries.  You see the water drops on the greenery.  We were fighting with rain off and on all day!

Jennifer was very beautiful.  She has these amazing blue eyes!

Love these shoes!

Nathan had this smile on his face the entire day.  He's standing here waiting for Jennifer to come up behind him.

He was watching my reaction has she rounded the corner. He knew she was near!

I was brought to tears watching Jennifer and her Dad.  This was his first look at his daughter.

Christy and Jack's Beach Wedding Part II

Here's the second part of Christy and Jack's wedding.  I had so much fun with these two.  They were an awesome couple to work with and I wish them many, many years of happiness!

I love watching children at weddings!

Alison Wider with Out on a Whim did a beautiful job with the flowers!!

An Alpha Delta Pi moment...

In between the ceremony and reception we stopped at the Hampton Inn and Suites Amelia Island Historic Harbor Front for some pictures in their beautiful lobby!

This is part of the clock that is on the ceiling in the lobby.

For those how know the bride, no she didn't bake her own cake.

We couldn't help but, snicker at the signs in the restaurant.  The reception dinner was at the our new favorite place, Kelley’s Courtyard Cafe in historic Fernandina.

We all need some shalom!

Christy and Jack's Beach Wedding Pre-Ceremony

I've been wanting to share these photos and more with you for some time.  My Christmas sessions started the week after this September wedding and kept me busy.  These two were married on the beach in Fernandina.  The weather was perfect and made for a beautiful wedding.  Here are some of the pre-ceremony favorites of mine!

Mama's watching!

Reed's Senior Session

You know you are getting older when you start photographing your high school friends' kids' senior pictures!  I was tickled  when Tammy called me and asked if I was available for Reed's Senior Session.  Her husband is a talented artist and photographer so, I kinda felt some pressure as well.  We met on a Saturday morning with rain threatening skies.  The rain held off and we had a blast. I wish Reed the best of luck as he finishes out his senior year and the best  as he starts college next fall!

When I Survey....

...the Wonderous Cross!  Years ago I did a blog on crosses that I see in everyday objects.    Some are obvious, while others you have to look for them. I had so many positive responses that blog I decided to do another one. So, for over a year now whenever I would see a "cross" I'd grabbed my camera.  Not only it is fun, but as a photographer it pushes me to see things in a different way.   As a Christian this serves a reminder to me of the love my Savior had to for me.

Bessie and Lee's Christmas Wedding

How lucky am I to  have not one, but two December weddings? What a wonderful time of year to get married.  Everything is so festive and fun!  Bessie and Lee's wedding was held at Harding Stables in Tifton, Georgia and was the perfect setting for these two.  It was a cold day, but their smiles and sweet nature seemed to made their guest forget how cold it was.  Here are some detail shots.  I'll share more in another post!

Love these of these two.  Don't they make a beautiful couple.  For those who know Bessie, that's her trademark expression seen here with Lee.  Scrunching up her nose.

We were so glad to see this sign!  I've been none to get us "lost" before, but Harding Stables in Tifton wasn't that hard to find right outside of Tifton.  It was a beautiful place!  Look them up on facebook!

Bessie's sweet friend who was also her bridesmaid surprised her with this special hanger!

Jennifer and Nathan's Christmas Wedding -The Details

This was one sweet wedding!  The bride and groom had dated for years (much like my husband and I) and were ready to get married after he passed the bar exam. At their families' request they agreed to have the ceremony at his parent's home. It was truly a family affair with his sister's decorating the home.  Everything was just beautiful!  Here are some of my favorite details shots.  More to come later!

No, that's not ice it's rain drops.  It rained before and after the outdoor ceremony.

I truly loved the berries theme!  My favorite by far!

Oh yes I did!  I had to show how awesome this was up close!

LOVED her red shoes!
