Meet my new little friend Katie Belle!  This sweet one was just weeks old when we had her first session in the Baby Steps Plan.  I can't wait to watch her grow.  Here are some of my favorites from her photo shoot.

Katie Belle's room is decorated in the sweetest sayings.  This child will never doubt that she is loved!

You can tell her mom is a school teacher.  Check out her book collection! I also love how Jenna (Katie Belle's mom) incorporated special toys from her childhood in her nursery.  Like the rabbit and the little giraffe.

One happy family best describes these folks.  I've known Whitney for years and have the pleasure of working with her.  Here is her sweet family- husband David and daughter Chandler.  We meet one Saturday at the Crescent in Valdosta and I thought I'd share with you some of my favorites.

Love this shoot.  I thought the colors they wore looked great with the setting!

There's just something about black and white photos that is timeless to me.

Chandler is a doll!  She was a natural in front of the camera.

Beautiful mother and daughter!

This is just precious to me!  I love how she's holding David's face!!

I love watching children at play.  Chandler was fasciinated with how she could "draw" with the water from the fountain. 

And, I'll close with this sweet one!  I love capturing movement.  It speaks volumes to me in a photograph.  Isn't she adorable?!!??

This little fellow is such a joy to be around.  We had a good time in his grandparents' beautiful backyard for his Spring Mini Session!  I hope you enjoy some of my favorites!

Luke has a sweetest smile. 

Look at those eyes!  As a mom I would have a hard time getting on to this fellow with those sweet eyes looking at me.

I just love this one.  He's like me sometimes, when you ask him to smile, you may or may not have the eyes open!

Get ready for some sweet sugar!   You may remember this brother and sister from pictures last year.  They are two of the sweetest children I've ever met!  Here are some favorites from their recent session.

Their mom and I had asked them to sit on the blanket and this is what we got.  I thought how adorable!  You can't hear it, but they were just a giggling.

Lily was dressed in her smocked Easter dress and was just precious. 

I just love this child.  She is so sweet!

Now it's his turn. 

And, Lily joined right in!  Silas adores her!

He has the most beautiful blue eyes!

And then he spotted a bug.  Boys will be boys!

And he proudly shows it off.  I love the look on his face here. 

And the bug gets his close up.  Weird looking isn't it?

Here's a mini Spring session with two great boys!  These tykes' dad and his brother and my brother and I use to car pool to school together many, many years ago.  We had a great time one lazy Sunday afternoon and here are some of my favorites!

I bet these fellows are going to grow up being the best of friends.

Jonathan is a little camera shy, but you know there's something about this picture I really like.  It's him!

Joel was all smiles for me!

Mama jumped in and we got some precious pictures with her and her boys! 

We took pictures right down the road from their grandparents' home so when they were ready to leave I thought it would be neat getting them doing something they love.  So, I set up a friendly competition to see who could get to me first! 

And Joel won!

And it was bye, bye....

One thing I love about photography is you get to spend time with people on happy occassions like weddings, birthday parties, engagement shots or in Kellie and Brandon's case...their senior prom! There is something about this couple that reminds me of my high school sweetheart and myself.  Of course many of you know that high school sweetheart is now my sweetheart for life.  Kellie and Brandon were wonderful to work with and made some beautiful pictures! 

On prom night downtown Quitman glistened and sparkled with all the girls in beautiful gowns and handsome fellows posing to remember the night.

I'm a shoe girl myself so I had to get her shoes!

I have to brag a little here, Brandon has just signed to play baseball at my alma mater...Valdosta State! Go Blazers and congratulations Brandon!  Brooks County Schools is very proud of you!

If you could have only heard our conversation when I asked him to squat so I could get this picture.  He couldn't imagine what I was doing as I stepped up onto the park bench.  He was like, "Are you serious?  Really?"  See Brandon it did make a good picture!

I have watched Kellie grow up before my eyes.  At the football games her family always sat near us, so I have watched her as a little girl cheering with her older sisters when they were cheerleaders in high school. It's hard to believe she's a senior.

Kellie is just beautiful.

And two very proud parents.  They have raised three beautiful girls and now their baby is getting ready to graduate!  Thank you for calling on me Kellie!
